The Full Story
Ever since our founder started Sweet Adventures in 2021, this little Small Business has become a staple in Orlando. It all started with a 1984 Grumman Kurbside truck. Upon looking for a car for a relative we stumbled across this beauty.
The truck was stuck in the woods for over 20+ years with trees and animals living inside of it. We contacted the owner of the vehicle and made a deal. The deal was, if the owner could get the truck to the roadway so that it could be towed we would purchase it. After 2 full days of removing trees and heavy brush the truck was moved safely to the road and it was picked up and brought to its new home.
The truck was completely restored after a full year of rebuilding, sanding, painting and other various steps along the way. From being fully sandblasted to remove the old FEDeX labels that were still under the original paint to making custom dashboards and wiring harnesses the truck finally hit the road in June of 2022. Its been a labor of love and we have enjoyed the process. Its now time to back to business and start serving delicious Saved ice again. Serving hungry eaters near and far, we’re continuously changing our location and evolving our menu — always keeping our flavors fresh and unique.
